Just started watching Preacher this week. Loving the first 3 episodes. The main character became a preacher after going off the rails in his past and is struggling and not exactly perfect. Bit of supernatural involvement as well. Set in Texas so great wide open spaces combined with a small town and some funny characters.

Based on a comic book series I believe (never read it) it has that feel to it the titles and some scenes. Seth Rogan is involved and you can see his influence as well.

My Monday nights double is currently GoT and Preacher.

I'm missing zombies though - come on back, Walking Dead!

There's always Fear The Walking Dead . . . but that has proven to be a bit garbage!

I like FTWD, its definitely different from TWD mind you.

Yep, missing zombies. Can't get into Fear TWD, I like the characters in the other one- what's left of them!

THE battle scene in the latest GoT. Best I've ever seen, compares to the beach landing in Saving Private Ryan for awesomeness.

Last GoT.  Finally some satisfying outcomes.

Person of Interest final episode.  It started off looking like it would be rather wish-washy, but was actually quite a nice ending to the series.  It was probably time for it to end.  All in all, a show I've enjoyed a lot has ended.

Penny Dreadful final episode.  Another excellent final episode, tied up things nicely.  It was probably time for this one to end as well.

It's nice to see that series are getting ended these days, rather than just cliffhangers that never get an ending.

Westworld was corny, but it and Cherry 2000, as as topical AI-wise as person of interest, in our near future.

Just finished watching the first series of the UK/Kenneth Branagh version of Swedish crime drama Wallander on Lightbox, and enjoyed it a lot. I'm not sure why I missed this when it was shown in New Zealand a while ago. There are two seasons left to watch on Lightbox, and a fourth series aired on UK TV recently (the last episode was only about six weeks ago).

Stranger things on Netflix. 9.2 on IMDB. Only came out last weekend but wow what a series, upto episode 5 and absolutely hooked. Very difficult to only watch one episode a night lol
