FWIW where ever possible, I avoid petrol stations for coffee. I'd rather patronise an independent coffee shop and get a real coffee in a real cup. But a lot of coffee places shut down after about 2PM so if you're travelling, you don't have much choice.
Gas station barista coffee is real coffee, ground from real beans and pressed in a real espresso machine. You can get worse or better coffee in a so-called real cafe.
