Less than two hours out from presale and the prices for the tickets are still are not up..

Is it just the fanclub presale coming up? Regular presales are next week, right?

Also, you said metclub gets the best seats? If it's a ticketmaster presale then it's probably like all the other presales, a selection of seats throughout the venue. Isn't that how they normally work? In my experience anyway. I'll be interested to see the quality of the seats left next week for the other sales.

Yes just metclub presales today, the great unwashed get there hands on them next week.
Im not sure how the presale seating arrangement is, but its one of the draws of being a metclub member. I assumed that you had first go at any seat available? (not just a selection of seats), but that was just an assumption.

If it's anything like other presales (not necessarily fanclubs) then it is not all the seats that are available to purchase. If it were, then I would expect the last metclub member who buys seats at the end of the presale period to get better seats than anyone in the MyTicketmaster presale or general sale, but I doubt that would be the case.

More likely it's: "A presale is an opportunity to secure tickets prior to the general public." I checked the website, and it does suggest the "best seats" so it will be interesting to see...

As am i, and the three other tickets im getting in 40 minutes!

.. buying myself a ticket for the melbourne show at 2pm as well... cant wait, bring on October/November!
Ive said it once and ill say it again, ill be filthy if they announce a chch show now.. ive gone to GREAT expense to get to auckland to see them..

The same thing happened to me with PJ in 2006. They announced Oz but not here, never did end up playing here that tour, luckily. There's no reason to get annoyed though, you already decided to spend that money to see them, may as well enjoy it. If they do end up in Chch you can go see them again there for (relatively) cheap (unless you're stuck in Auckland)!
