richms: There are so many people out there being dicks on trademe, and they dont know you from them, and to answer questions from people takes employee time, and you wouldnt be happy with the answer anyway so would write back again and again, Best from their perspective to just ignore anyone they kick off.

Agreed...and best for each and every one of us to afford ourselves the same option - ignore - if the need arises.

But to be able to do that, we must have choice...and to have choice we need to actively support not just one, but several online trading sites.

I use TradeMe and Sella. Plan A and Plan B.

Both potentially unreasonable.....but each a life boat for the other in the event of failure by one.

I still cant grasp how you are trying to justify their lack of basic customer service

um no - success fees are paid by the seller, not the buyer.....

They buyers are the merchandise, the sellers the customer. By kicking off suspect buyers they are making it better for their paying customers by minimizing the chance of selling to a dropkick braindead moron. But as they tend to cluster in the car and computer catagories there is little chance of them buying from me.
