Common sense is not as common as you think.

I have a scale biplane from Guillow’s hanging from the ceiling in my makerspace that I assembled some time ago. There are also a lot of IoT electronics in this aeroplane, which are elegantly concealed from view in the room. But what has always bothered me is that the plane lacked a pilot, and now I've found one to scale that fits perfectly and should be well known among music lovers. Aces High-Eddie! 😁

Good idea, but those are painted quite authentic (as shown).

Man, he's a pilot and the clear blue sky is reflected in the eyes of every pilot! 😇

The only thing I have listening to the world is VPN access.

Watching my router fail2ban connection attempts makes me smile every time.

The extremely wild eyed, abusive man at Bunnings carpark who backed out of his park into my car which was stationary and ready to turn into the opposite carpark.

He jumped around like Rumplestiltskin yelling profanities. In danger of being attacked by him as he rushed towards me I stood my ground and pointed out that he was the one at fault because he reversed into my car. He turned and ran off into the shop you could hear him still swearing all the way.

Fortunately there was no damage but I snapped his plates in case.

Driving back to Auckland from Hamilton yesterday, I asked Spotify to play a song I hadn't heard in a while, and then it did the whole 'heres a bunch of music you might also like'. It started playing Icehouse songs. I didn't know they had so many bangers, pretty much everything it played I was either surprised was them, or I hadn't heard in a long time.

I was thinking of going to Taupo for the concert and decided it was too much driving and now I am annoyed I didn't go.

All the same, I had a great time listening all the way back.

This stone gargoyle Alien on a church (in Saint-Jean-de-Boiseau/France). Apparently, the depiction of the contemporary evil of mankind has also arrived in historical architecture.

Interesting, just today for some reason or another, I was thinking of the Darth Vader grotesque at the Washington National Cathedral:

I was wondering whether the picture was legit, a quick check and it is, the chapel was restored 1993-1995 to include modern pop culture references.
