Watched Red One on Prime Video last night

Surprisingly entertaining and not a children's movie - although also not a movie to be taken seriously by adults.

Movie Review: 'Red One' | Recent News | DrydenWire.com

Not suitable for children at all? I was going to watch it tonight with my girls (8 & 10).

The occasional (blip) swearing and some mature references, that may go over the head for younger audience. Or they may ask about the word... More of action movie, really.

Oh, if your kids watch anything that's kind of aimed at adults but not 100% Disney Channel, then they'll be fine, I would imagine.
When my kids were 8 & 10 they were watching Marvel Movies and the like and it's no worse than that - what I meant by not a kids movie is that the target audience isn't the little Santa-obsessed kiddies. It's an action movie with a few references that'll be beyond most childrens' understanding and there's the odd swear word in there, but it's not R-rated or anything. It's certainly not Deadpool's Christmas.

Hell no. Don't you dare compare Carry On to the holy grail of Christmas/Action movies.

It's more of a thriller than an action movie and Taron Egerton seems to do more running in this movie than Tom Cruise does in his. Also the plot holes - I don't work in an airport and don't know my way around an airplane but even I'm thinking that's not right.

It's not a bad movie but not particularly memorable either. Leads were good and I like seeing Jason Bateman in a bad guy role (shades of Ozarks) but he's no Alan Rickman. Also his end wasn't the most satisfying. Other bad guys were meh too. I've always said you need good bad guys and Die Hard had them in spades (not just Hans Gruber but all his henchmen were great too).

Glorious (2022)

Been intending to watch this for a bit based on the trailer I saw some time back. A low budget cosmic horror/comedy that I found pretty entertaining and it's of that 'single' set style movie where it takes place in a public toilet with some other short snippets outside of it. I haven't seen Ryan Kwanten myself in anything since True Blood, and J.K. Simmons voice is fun as the other voice. Honestly nothing to write home about, but like my experiences in horror I'm not necessarily looking for a gourmet experience and a filling pub feed is just a good honestly if not better most the time. It does commit what I believe are sins of cosmic horror but that's down to opinion; showing anything more than a crumb breaks breaks things a little for me as I'd rather my brain do the work via my imagination. It's good enough that I'd suggest people watch it if they are so inclined.

Terrifier - 7/10 - It's a killer clown movie with lots of gore. Its not IT. :) For a movie with only $35k in budget (USD), it was actually a good solid slasher film :) Followed by 2 sequels with a 3rd on the way.

WARNING : The gore starts in the first 2 minutes and its pretty full on, so be warned.

Wallace & Gromit - Murder Most Fowl. Excellent as ever. Slightly miss the earlier, less professional days, where you could spot the fingerprints, but still good.

Yeah... my teenager put this on and I insisted the movie be changed after a few minutes.

I'm sure Die Hard 2 is a paragon of accurately representing airport operations 😂
