I've been a little unwell the last few days, and yesterday I dropped my brand new smartphone without a cover from chest height onto tiles, something I've never done in 25 years+. It bounced and skidded across the floor and hit the wall and there isn't a mark on it anywhere.

To make things worse, I also dropped my kindle which WAS in a case, and case chipped but the kindle appears unharmed.

Hopefully, this isn't an indication on what's to come!

My advice would be to NOT carry any of your children for the foreseeable future

They say it comes in threes. Just carry something that you're prepared to sacrifice for now.

Got my MRI results back today. 2382 slices later......

Good news is that they found no obvious cause of the Trigeminal Neuralgia or any "tumours etc"

Decided that I am to be on long term blood thinners as per the conclusion of the whole neurology team 12 years ago when I had the stroke.

Bad news is they still don't have a cause for the TN.

That the foolishness in reality far exceeds the traditional, feigned foolishness for the duration of the carnival season and that it is becoming increasingly difficult to be intelligently ‘crazy’ with this new stupidity. 🤣

World Squash Federation made a social media post asking for people to tag people who hadn't beaten them yet. Being the smartass I am, I tagged a good number of the top 30 in the world. 4 Tagged me back letting me know to let them know when I arrive.

One even offered to pick me up from the airport ;)

I can no longer show my face in Egypt, France, Germany or England.

🤣

Reminds me of the time my cousin sent in a application to manage a premier league football club after they announced the sacking of their current manager. In his resume he went to great detail to explain his accomplishments which included coaching his daughter's under 9 team to win the league and their preparations for their upcoming grand final appearance. There were other embelishments too including scoring the wining goal in the local over 40's pub league grand final. It was all in jest of course, but it made his day when he received a reply from the chairman of the club on letterhead thanking him for his application but that they were looking for someone with a bit more international pedigree. They did include a jersey for his daughter with her name on it which was a nice touch.
