Beginning of March and two 2025 calendars have been deposited in our mail box in the last two days, one by a real estate agent and the second a large wall calendar with advertising all over it.

A 2026 calendar would be more useful at this point.

I got this for Christmas last year.  Makes me smile every time I look at it.

Did Eric Clapton really think she looked wonderful...or was it after the 15th outfit she tried on and he just wanted to get to the party and get a drink?

World Squash Federation made a social media post asking for people to tag people who hadn't beaten them yet. Being the smartass I am, I tagged a good number of the top 30 in the world.

Good on you if only the top 30 remain to be beaten .

Island Bay village where Council have spent a gazillion $$$ on extensive bike lanes and new footpaths and steel upstands to trip on. So now walking along the pedestrian footpath there are three across kids on scooters speeding down the footpath only avoided being hit because was walking looking behind me. They can’t use the bike lanes because they are on too much of an angle and not wide enough. There you go WCC, rip it all up for a fifth time and start over.

I thought it might be asking for trouble to tag the top 500 :)

This absolute Gucci bike rack hardly gets used, even in summer.

The bike rack was $84k but the total cost including footpath and road changes was $550K. Meanwhile Wellington water still leaks...

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd trust my $10k eBike on a public rack, where it's 100% likely to be stolen or vandalised.

If not going to work where you can put your bike inside, where can you put a bike that is secure... nowhere?

An 18 year old wildcard from NZ, beating a player ranked 200 places above him, in the NZ Squash Open. It will be the biggest upset of the year in squash I'd bet.
