How Schweppes have renamed a bunch of their drinks:

  • Sparkling Duet Orange & Lemon
  • Sparkling Duet Lemon
  • Sparkling Duet Lemonade
  • Sparkling Duet Raspberry

The first (and original) is still appropriately named. But does their marketing department really think the others should be call "Duet"?

Perhaps the meaning of the word "duet" has changed, and only the marketing team knows about it?

Keep calm, and carry on posting.

Perhaps the marketing team is made up of semi-literate children ...

I don't see an issue with it, it would seem that the marketing team are linking a "family" of products as Duet being the keyword.

'Duet' means you need to add some kind of alcohol to complete the drink and to start singing later on. :-)

My most recent My Food Bag recipe:

  1. Cook the [stuff I can't remember the name of] for 15 minutes.
  2. When it has 3 minutes remaining, add the broccoli.
  3. When it has 6 minutes remaining, cook the salmon.

Who proofread this?!

That one needs to go into the other thread. I got a smile out of it.

It's why you should read *all* recipes from start to finish before starting to cook. :-)
