Advertising properties in acres ("a 1/4 acre paradise!") when after enquiring only to be told the subdivision undertaken in 2013 is exactly 900m2.

Companies that saturation-bomb you with their commercials. I swear I will never, ever, ever use Trivago for anything!

I recently used Trivago.  I got the reservation email, but aside from that I haven't received a single email from them.

Do you have an email rule to redirect to @Rikkitic?

Yep I do that to all my spam.

So how would you propose it is funded?  all by pay services?

Sounds good to me. The micro-cents that FTA broadcasters get per ad view is a horrid insult to the value of my time IMO.

I've just had the misfortune of trying to use the browser on my parents' Samsung "smart" TV. It has the absolute worst on-screen keyboard I've ever seen, with letters - and the cursor - moving around on their own accord.

The way the press liken the mid-term elections in the US to "Battles":

"a tight-fought seat by seat battle"

I wish it were a battle, that at least would sort out some problems in politics :-)

Heh, do you think it would sort out some problems, or make them a lot worse, after all the Republicans have all the guns :)

No more idiotic than 'Something Bomb' or 'Something-gate'. Both signals to stop listening and head over to Geekzone for real news.

Today was a gorgeous Hawke's Bay summer's day. The sky was blue, the sun was shining, the world was bright and happy. I had a very enjoyable day driving to appointments with the windows down, doing a few chores in town, a bit of shopping on the long, leisurely drive home, looking forward to sitting down with the TV and a drink and following the American election results. Even those were not completely disappointing. I cannot think of a single tiny thing to feel annoyed about. I am so glad there are days like this.

When a New Zealand sourced (Grown) food product is replaced by an imported one!

(Retail price stays the same or is dearer!)

And it is a NZ Company doing it, yet they advertise Buy New Zealand etc.
