Companies that saturation-bomb you with their commercials. I swear I will never, ever, ever use Trivago for anything!

And... They are now being sued by the Australian commerce commission for deceptive advertising. This reminds me a bit of the Youi ads. The more they shout the bigger the lie.

That drink driving ad with Jason Gun. Can somebody please explain what's going on? I can't make sense of it.

That my phone will happily connect to the bluetooth headset I've accidentally left on at the other end of the house, causing great confusion when the phone rings. But when that same headset is placed around my neck to actually be used, my phone seems to remember its personal vendetta against it and refuses all attempts at communication.

Advert, you say?

Interesting. Who is Mr Gun? Which Netflix channels is it on?

The fact that in the past 7 days, I have found 6 marks in my car, not put on it by me.

Honestly, I can't believe the number of people who could damage a car and not leave a single note. I now have 9 semi-significant dents, scratches, marks or other things, and not ONE of those was caused by me. Not one note was left.

I suspect the combined cost of rectifying them is likely to be around 3-4K.

Park more solitary?

Carpark dents and scrapes are as certain as the sun rising, the newer and nicer the car, the more you notice and the more grief it causes.

Buy pre-dented cars for $3-4k and worry about more important things in life.  Cars are just boring appliances.

That time I had a brand new car, parked away from everyone else while waiting for wife and someone decided to park next to me and bump my passenger door with his driver door... With me inside my car, who then proceeded to call him to his actions and decisions in life.

You could always do what I saw some yuppy poser with a Ferrari do: park in the middle of two car parks.

I have a relative that does this with his pride and joy GTS Commodore. On one occasion he returned to find a Fiat Bambina had been parked in the space remaining on the driver's side of his car leaving no room to open the door. Much hilarity from the rest of us.

I like that ad.

It's all about imagining what would happen if their mate drove home drunk and died - he obviously knows the old guy and gets through his property to the surf spot.

At least they've stopped those bloody commercials!

Drop car to check why air flow stops after an hours drive but can still hear fan - obvious something block vents/ducts... Also ask to look at automatic door light switch. Wait around four hours go back to garage, manager says they can't find a fault "the fan still works" and they forgot to check light switch.

Walked out of there without paying anything because they've done nothing.

3 times in the last couple of weeks, sitting in car and people banging into it with shopping trolleys or car doors!!!

It is just clumsiness.

Around 5 weeks ago, someone left quite a mark on our bumper, I'm thinking a car scraped us on that occassion.

Around 14 months ago, a middle aged dodgy looking woman reversing her van out of a supermarket carpark and hit the accelerator instead of breaks to stop.... of course I'm the sucker who parked behind her.

She hit our territory so hard it was shunted into a tree also. So front and back damage.   Fortunately it was on CCTV so she didn't run for it as most people do!

'Expensive' Harvey norman leather lounge suites.....ours was around $6500, so figure it is way better than the $1500 fake leather ones.

Had it 13 years or so now, and the back failed on one of the single seaters..... me being the DIY type, took it apart and found 6 bolt holes for the mounting brackets.....

But, the manufacturers had only put bolts in 2 of the 6 holes (one on each side).   This thing was made to fail.

To be fair, 13 years is a long time and it is still quite a nice suite. I just don't get why they don't put at least 2 bolts in each side.
