Referring to people being in a particular "mode".

People are not devices, they do not have 'modes'.

Reminds me of Sky NZ rugby commentators who are the most inane in the world in the way they use colloquialisms instead of sticking to plain english.

'The pill' is not a ball. Claret is not blood. Among a million other things.

I enjoy rugbypass when they are not using kiwi commentators, the standard is so much higher.

Remember the Murray Mextedism they were classic. Although the best was on one of EAs Rugby PC games where the commentator says "he charged like a niggly Bison"

Not a small annoyance. More like a major act of selfish, stupid, criminal vandalism. My favourite fantasy is finding the F-wits who do this and dumping their crap on them.

I reported a van to the Police recently. I was following it and pie wrappers, drinks cans etc were coming out of the windows as they drove.

Edit - also picked up a Macca's bag from outside our gate in the ditch yesterday - the nearest Maccas is 35km away!

There’s obviously a good case for ALL single-use bags to be banned.

The fact that I am only really realising that there is often quite a difference between performance IRL and performance as described in reviews...! Usually IT/Tech things which get poorer ratings in the reviews turn out to be just fine in real life.

People who think a Mobile Phone is an excuse to:

To stop on Yellow lines!

To stop on a Cycleway!

To ignore No Stopping signs!

etc....

The overwhelming number of free sample stands at Albany New World at the moment. Absolutely chokes the place, especially when it's already busy.
