Since learning via email from a stranger that I've been selected for a donation of €2,000,000, I've been thrilled all day. I'm just not sure who the recipient is supposed to be. 😁

Just don't do what my Dad did - played them along to the point of getting a "sample" cheque from them, which he banked into a deposit machine, which put the money into his account, which resulted in the bank telling him he could be at risk of losing his house.  He thought the whole thing was hilarious.  Even that last part.

No, I won't waste a second on that - straight into the spam folder with it.

I don't know... true superpower lies in peaceful trade for the benefit of all involved. 😉

Nothing to do with government, what we eat and drink is personal choice. It's just a tax grab.

On the surface, yes. Retrospective analysis (also in the UK) suggests it helps. Too much sugar isn't just in drinks, but in many convenience products. I'll leave it to the doctors (and I don't eat much sugar anyway). The tax revenue will apparently flow into the healthcare system (here in Germany).

Hitting plenty of 9's or better with an arrow from from 50 meters away.  Made my day

^ That was one of the first ends, the others kept getting better

I assume that was done with a compound bow. Or perhaps with a longbow? 😉

The fact that I receive a full refund as soon as I drop off and scan a return at the post office, and not only after it has arrived at the delivery company and been inspected, is a plus. Apparently, I have a good customer rating. 🙂

Couple of years now. I did longbow for half a year or so many moons ago, still have it and I bring it out every once in a while.

SCTI credited our travel insurance and the funds came through immediately.  We changed our flights to Aussie, the insurance for which was like 1/6th of the cost to Europe via Doha.  Cancelled flight funds also came back just today from Qatar Airways
