Today I found a "Fibre is coming to your street soon"! WOOT!
Bluff oysters in season.
Looking out our house window over McCormack's bay in Christchurch, there are a couple of small man made islands in the causeway (between Ferrymead and Redcliffs). One looks like twig and berries and the other looks like a hand about to measure up.
I smile everytime i see it.

I am a huge music fan. This week has been very emotional, many negative feelings obviously. Today I discovered a new artist and I am loving her music.
If I had to lose one of my senses, I would pray for it not to be my hearing, I don't think I could live happily without music!
The US has now ticked over to 1/4. https://www.gpf-comics.com made me giggle.
Reading Charlottes Web to my kids. Sad, but one of my favourite stories of all time.

Drivers who are ultra careful and considerate around kids near crossings etc. We always teach our kids to not assume someone will stop and be careful even if someone does, and to always acknowledge drivers who do stop, but it's nice to see drivers being more aware.
This was new to me.

Watching Blade Runner 2049 on TV and noticing that Agent K’s spinner vehicle is a Peugeot.
Peugeots have not been sold in the US since 1991 so obviously they’re going to make a comeback at some point.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

That there is now a smallish chance that I might have UFB installed by the time the RWC starts. I'll be over the moon.
Wow, so unexpectedly early they are physically laying Fibre on my street this week! They said they expect to be done within 10 days. After that some build work etc, but ahead of schedule looks like.
I am part of the Microsoft Spam Fighters programme with an outlook.com account, where they periodically check to see if you believe that specific messages you have previously received are spam or not, in the interests of fine tuning their detection rates. They have just forwarded one from MSN (which I've not ever been able to opt out of for some reason). Guess how I answered 😄
