The Herald App on Android creates some great headlines/bylines due to extremely poor formatting.

Hilarious. Soon to be followed by "Why are so many of our readers congenital idiots and what can we do to avoid it?"

At least that's better than "This man committed incest and you'll never guess what happened next!"

Replace "avoid" with "monetise" and you're on the right track...

"Fairfax New Zealand Renamed Stuff"

Highlights of the article:

Fairfax New Zealand has changed its name to Stuff as it seeks to build a new business model to support its journalism.

The Fairfax brand did not have the same resonance for New Zealanders as it did for Australians, Boucher said.

Another spark was a survey last year that showed Stuff was one of the top-20 most trusted brands in New Zealand.

I nearly choked on my cornflakes when I read that LOL

The actions of "Fairfax" in NZ over the past few years remind me of a fish that has just been hauled in.

It is still alive, and thrashes about trying to get back to the water ( in this case the water is a viable business model), but in the long term all the trashing does is use up its oxygen supply and eventually it will just flop lifelessly into the bottom of the boat.....

When paid subscriptions at your papers are falling 10% per year, its only a few years until your corporate overheads such as 12 year leases on large shiny building in Ponsonby start to really kill you.

SepticSceptic:

Rikkitic:

My Mainland cheese says it has 50% less salt. So is that …

50% less than it used to have? Hell, people, were you trying to poison me before?
50% less than your CEO sprinkles on his peas?
50% less than it takes to slime a slug?
50% less than Roman soldiers were paid?
50% less than the amount required to kill me? See above.
50% less than it takes to catch a bird?
50% less than you would like to rub in my wound?
50% less than Abimelech used to sow Shechem with?

If there is 50% less now, then there was 50% more before. That is a lot of salt. At least half as much. Am I being cheated?

I want my salt back.

I always endeavour to purchase full salt / full fat products.

I want my money's worth. Even worse, there are products that cost more BECAUSE they are less salt / less fat.

WTF ? Paying more for less ?

Besides, most "less salt/ less fat" food products are front loaded with sugar.

Wife bought low or no salt peanut butter, its rubbish. Bland as. I cant even double the serving as I just get twice as much bland

What if you just sprinkle a little salt on it?
