I'm already driving Android, specifically an HTC Desire. My wife would not give up her HTC Legend for anything, but the IDEOS looks like the perfect phone to give to a deserving relative who could do with joining the Android club!

Julian.

My Nokia 6121 power button stopped working a couple weeks back and like all true geeks i had to 'fix' it :)

but as long as you didn't let it run out of battery(or want to turn on/off in a hurry) it kept on trucking - Turns out the pads had lifted from the PCB

'Fixed' Nokia 6121

completely safe right? :) hmmmm, maybe i should look at a new phone since people have started giving me funny looks when they notice the wires coming out of the top.

I'm yet to convince any of them that it improves reception on the vodafone network, but i'll keep trying!

Have a Samsung Spica i5700 with updated Android 2.1.

Nice phone to play about with and have upgraded the memory to 16gb with a micro SD.

Beauty of the Android phones is that you can copy files to it without needing a specific fileloading program like the Apples.

Ideos is a nice phone - managed to procur one through Aussie for my daughters next birthday so then she can choose a Yellow or a blue day.

I couldn't think of a better phone to ring the phone in my other pocket to get me out of awkward workmate conversations.

I've got a SE k800i (James Bond special edition!) sadly on it's last legs. The buttons are all slowly stopping working, I need a new phone before I can only call people who don't have 3s or 6s in their number.
(Only mirror I had handy)

That would certainly be better than my old Nokia 1100! It works well as a phone, great coverage on 2degrees but it doesn't have any bells or whistles. Methinks it's time I joined the 21st century!

I would like to enter into the competition, too.

Previously, I reported the heat, and more importantly, the automatic power-off problems of my Samsung Omnia i900, and am still desperated to find something stable enough to run overnight. While this is an Android, the apps I need to run on Windows are still accessible via remote access. So, it would be perfect.

Fingers crossed.

I currently have a heavily damaged Samsung F480.  I'm a web developer and would love to get into some Android development but unfortunately the funds don't allow for such a device at the moment so figured i'd try my luck!
