paulchinnz:WOF mechanics changing settings in the car and not reversing those changes. And why was there a need to check what the heater is like at 27C anyway?
Good thought. Not that I'm aware of, and pretty sure they would've charged me for it if they had.
Regardless, and I sympathise with any mechanic that's cold-sensitive, but would've been polite to set it back to 19C.
Websites that require you to select a username but are written so that you will no know that the username you chose is already in use until you have completed the remainder of the form - when you will get a message after clicking 'Next' informing you of that fact and returning you to the form to choose a different one.
At which point, you will find out that all the other information you tediously entered has been erased....

Possibly to help demist the windows quickly if they wanted to see where they were going and/or or to change the WOF sticker.

Yeah, cause it's takes a monumental effort to change it back yourself.

That'll be why it's in the "small annoyances" thread. :-/
The way my Samsung S9 nags me to set up Bixby voice every time I unlock the phone.

Google “disable Bixby”. Note, what you need to do varies depending on whether you have Android O or P(One UI).
As well as the Bixby settings on your phone you need to turn it off in your Samsung account. I rid my S10 of Bixby so long ago I had to look it up, but it certainly doesn’t pester me as you describe.

Agreed..... I didn't buy it. 😉 It was a corporate issued one that I was allowed to keep when I left my last job. When it dies it will be replaced with something that has the most vanilla Android I can find. Will be coming here to help me find one I expect. (My experience with Samsung smartphones, had an S6 previously, has put me off the brand altogether. It will take something quite compelling to make me ever buy a Samsung product again.)

My experience exactly, on multiple occasions!
Never had a reply to any!
Well I did get the automated "Thanks for ya inquiry, we'll get back to ya ASAP" spiel.
Screw 'em. I'll keep what I found.
As someone who replies to those, I can confirm someone somewhere at someplace does :p
