Today our new Internet service was installed. It is a local WISP. The difference with our RBI service is dramatic. No more buffering, no adaptive streaming, no peak period drop-outs, just steady, consistent Internet. Years of constant frustration have evaporated. MY smile is broad, indeed.

It is still early days and it will take awhile to check everything out in practice and be certain it is all as hoped, but first signs are very promising. What a joy after all the crap with RBI. It is cheaper, as well, and no data cap! My god! Can life get any sweeter?

This clever post from a reader on BBC sports article reporting on Blackcaps win over India at CWC2019

BBC website comments:

Indians should not be too upset as everyone knows how hard it is to beat Ferguson's team at Old Trafford

Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

Ordering from the US on Wednesday with Amazon, and it being here Tuesday morning via Youshop, despite paying for economy shipping and them predicting 5th of August for delivery!!!

This, the same company who took nearly 2 weeks to get a small item from CHCH to Auckland 2 weeks ago.

To offset some of the courier complaints: Package picked up from Auckland at 6:20 this morning and arrived at my place in Whakatane a few minutes ago.
