Often have YouTube videos playing in background while doing other stuff but the Vodafone buffering ads always get me to look at YouTube is it buffering. Good one Vodafone
People that don't use their eyes when driving....
I was rear-ended in the weekend, resulting in not just a damaged car (hassle) but a mild concussion and whiplash (annoying and painful).
The woman that hit me had around 30m to look up, see my indicator, brake lights and the fact that I was stationary and still failed to either look or slow down - resulting in the accident.
Thankfully she admitted liability immediately and I drive an old Volvo, so she was much worse off than me, in a vehicular/insurance sense.

martyyn: Short people who feel compelled to comment on my height like I'm some kind of freak.
I'm 6'5, my wife is 6'0 and our three kids are all well above average for their ages.
Just because you are 5'0 doesn't give you a right to say we are a family of monsters.
Just pat the little hobbits on the head and start humming a Randy Newman song...

Just tell them it's not your fault they were malnourished when they were young.

Yep - happens a lot and it’s the height of rudeness. Sometimes if I’m feeling more grumpy than usual I say something and ask them to wait.
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.
Handle9: Banks. Trying to get pricing is like pulling teeth as an expat.
I understand they need certified documents for the actual loan but if they expect me to spend around $300-400 just for the privilege of getting interest rates from them they know where they can stick it.
Fortunately other banks are not so full of their own BS and will get my business.
Of course as soon as I told them that I was walking they miraculously sent me pricing. It was crap pricing but FFS, either it's a compliance topic or it isn't.
If it is a compliance topic there shouldn't be flexibility. When a flip flop happens immediately it's just laziness by the people involved.
Handle9: Banks.
We're going through this right now.
We've been with Kiwibank for 16 years, 15 of those I've been self employed. One family home, one rental, all insurances and credits cards with them. We've never asked them for anything but now the kids are leaving home we want to do some work on our house.
Our joint income is double the amount we asked for and our equity is five times the amount we asked for.
But they said no on the basis my wife has been self employed for 21 months and their minimum is 24. They wouldn't budge at all.
So we went to a broker and within a fortnight we had four offers. All offering more than we need, all with discounted rates, all with cash back and all suggesting we could borrow more to buy another rental (not that we want to become investors but it shows how secure we are).
So it's goodbye Kiwibank.

Good on you. People stay with their banks for too long and put up with too much from them.
What should happen with banks is the same as has happened with phones - you should be able to take your numbers with you to another bank. Thats to say, you should be able to have your account numbers be connected to you and not your bank, that way it would become a whole lot easier to switch.

Thats a great idea - I would vote for that.
The last time I changed bank or ISP it was a right PITA.
