This from Jacinda Ardern:

“I will never in my lifetime ever witness anything like this,” she said.

Despite just doing so..! As a participant.

DjShadow:

Jumping between TV1 and TV3 on Sky I think TV3 are taking the better feed, my subwoofer is liking the Organ music

3 was a fraction behind, but pumped up the vocal/microphone MUX so the audio was much better across the board and voiceover not drowned out.

But when it come to taking her back outside 1 had the external audio so you heard the procession lining up and so on while 3 still had the internal audio feed of shuffling people getting out of their seats in the chappel.

I didn't make it. Got as far as turning onto The Mall.

Then went to bed hearing drums all night during sleep :/

Watched till 2 am but succumbed. TVNZ+ have it on catch up so managed to watch the Windsor part this morning.

I loved the Long Walk from Old Windsor to the Castle where they had flowers on either side of the path with no wrapping paper. I’ve walked there many times when daughter lived in Old Windsor. Such a peaceful and beautiful park.

The entire funeral was truly spectacular and perfectly executed but what really impressed me were the amount of people lining the streets all the way from London’s to Windsor, what a send off. Loved the trumpets in the Cathedral.

Perhaps you'd like to start another thread rather than try to ruin this thread with a comment like that.

Apologies. I recalled the discussion continuing in this topic. I now realize I recalled the republic topic and opened this one incorrectly.
