OOH! Look at Michael Phelps over here.

I don't think I could do 100M in under a week.

I get a bit frustrated with my performance, but in any case swimming is so good when you're getting old and your joints don't cope quite as well with running!

My joints don't seem to cope well with movement full stop.😀

New moral panic in the big city visiting Sylvia Park from Hamilton:

NZHerald: The woman, who initially thought they were “oddly shaped” face massagers, was shocked when her daughter explained their utility, informing her they were sex toys. “One was named French Tickler,” the mum said. “My daughter giggled and thought that was just hilarious.” The mum said it was “their job to control anything that could cause moral, ethical or physical harm to children, and I would put this in the moral harm, or ethical harm”.

I think this falls into the the category of things an adult would prefer not to explain in some cases. The packaging is apparently discreet so that's not a problem. Yes, that is definitely a nose massager. Move along kids move along. Not so long ago there was 100% morally questionable magazine material on display in clear plastic at most dairy and newsagents. It might be still there I'm not sure I would notice.

Remember, when woman’s sanitary products were additionally packaged in plain brown paper bags and male prophylactic products were behind the counter available on request only at your local chemist shop.

Societies norms move on and change over time, and each country have different norms. Perhaps the lady in question should travel overseas.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

It was particularly ironic that the Adult had to have what they were explained by her daughter, who giggled and thought it was hilarious,

I would have thought laughter was not usually a sign you were experiencing "moral or ethical harm"

It was only recently that we stopped seeing ads where blue dye was used to demonstrate the absorb-ability of said sanitary products !!

We used to sell Modess wrapped up in the 70s and I got a very irate call from a farmers wife saying I had forgotten to put them in her order. I was adamant I had. Turned out a week later her frozen peas weren’t actually peas. I did an apology. 😁

We are in Montreux at the moment, there is a jazz festival on, it is very hot, there are French belles everywhere. Oh my. Even the ladies on our tour are shaking their heads as the lack of clothing being shown by said mademoiselles  is minimal to say the least. I think Bendon might be going broke here.

If I'm reading the article correctly, the daughter is 16.  As someone else has pointed out she probably knows more than her mother!

It's sad IMO that this prudish sex-shame still persists in our society.
