Back in 2007 I was a very primitive cellphone user who was devastated when Telecom killed the 025 network and I had to ditch a "perfectly good" phone. The replacement phone is lovely and has worked really well, but guess what... Telecom are killing that network too and forcing us onto XT.
We have 3 other phones in our family and I've got the bet phone of all - such a shame its obsolete. The others (2 degrees and Vodafone) are clunky, primitive beasts. Once you've had a nice phone I don't think you can ever go back :)
What I plan to do is buy a 2degrees phone and port my number over (already done that once, super slick process). I'm sick of having to buy new hardware because someone else tells me to. We've left Telecom for internet and our landline so this will finally cut the apron strings.
I've got an iPad and it would be great to compare android with ios.
So, if I could win a 2degrees phone it would be a great way to
My current Sony Ericsson has a decidedly bung LCD after a piece of farm gear fell on it. Now we have a wifi network covering the entire 50 acres of the farm, an Android device would be very handy for me when I'm out and about on the farm.
I haven't a clue what this is but clearly it is to do with phones :) I have a really old Hyundai from Telecom and am looking forward to getting something much more wizz-bang. Preferably that does more than occassionally find enough reception to let me answer a phone call, going dead in the middle of talking, turning off its own volume at will, and randomly switching to speaker phone and breaking my eardrum.
I have a sony erricson phone from vodafone at this time, I do like it though as it has a big key pad for my short fat fingers, I would love the Android phone because I want to download the satelitte finder it would make my job a lot easier, Good on you 2 Degrees
Currently I have SE K850i with it own mind, sometimes the touch screen works sometimes not, last time it took me half hour just to txt to someone arghhhh! So a new phone would be great!
Anyway I am on 2degree and it rocks! I also uses 2degree broadband on the go.
Still struggling with my Nokia n900 -- a great computer but not an especially great phone. Much smaller than the old Nokia communicator I used to use, and the keyboard is better (plus the typeahead is useful). If Android is any good I won't have to go back to an iPhone ...
The even older Ericsson r380s still works! Even though sellotape is holding the keypad together, it turns out that there are no electronics in there -- when the flap is shut, the keys just activate the touchscreen underneath! Smart :-)
Whole family is after my iPhone and no one really wants my spare phone (a HTC Snap) so this would really save my bacon ... I might even stay with the IDEOS are give away the iPhone (but again, maybe not ...).
My partner just recently bought me a Samsung Galaxy S first android phone I have used and loving it so far would love to get this phone for her as a chrissy present lol
