$6 hot chocolates that aren't the most freaking delicious thing I've ever tasted, and no marshmellows to boot.
I've been robbed at gunpoint and felt less stolen from :)

What do you mean by 'correct' English?
I understand your 'passion' for all things of Mother England, but no individual, organisation or nation - even dear 'Old Blighty' - has a monopoly on determining 'correct' English on behalf of the wider world.
I find it so bizarre that people treat language as static and immutable, and that they believe the 'version' they subscribe to as somehow the 'true' version. Sounds like a dogma or religion. Especially ironic in regards to English, given what a mongrel of a language it is...
Valid points. English is a dynamic and evolving language, and The Times doesn't always get it right, either, in spite of their style manual.
The problem is when people just 'make it up' because they don't know better or can't be bothered. For language to fulfil its essential function, which is communication, there has to be some agreement between both ends on what things mean.

It's a generational thing. I talk with my mokopuna and I swear sometimes that they are speaking in tongues or some alien language. They aren't they are speaking their english and that is cool.
Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

The Coffee stop in Grey Lynn - Great North Road, opposite discount tyres.
For what it's worth, Bunnings does a Large HC for 4 with Marshmellows. They are always good, should have gone there.

There is NO NEED for this... most other countries I have driven in have such better road manners than us.
Billy Connelly does a great section when he is in NZ about how great we are as a people, but how we are the worst drivers in the world. I'd believe it, though a recent drive through Los Angeles/Santa Barbara has me questioning that.
Haha - I think I've seen that he is very funny. I guess I should be happy then that we don't regularly have guns waived at us for the odd driving misdemeanor..
Tags in the side seams of shirts.
Not only are they stiff and scratchy, but they seem to be getting bigger each time I get new shirts. Reckon they will be at least A4 size in a couple of years.
Nearly impossible to cut them out as you either have to unpick them from the seam without unpicking the seam itself, or you get a shorter scratchy bit sticking into your side.
Why can't we just have washing/advertising material on the attached packaging that we can dispose of once we own the garment?

i like the tags , makes it easier to dress in the dark and not put my shirt on back to front and inside out.
Common sense is not as common as you think.

I usually put mine one with the buttons at the front, on the outside.😁
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.

The tags on the back of the neck, yes. I can mostly live with those, though they are increasing in size also. The ones I was referring to specifically are the side seam ones. I hadn't noted if they are all only on the left side or not.
Given the way "fashion" works, chances are that inside out and/or back to front will be a new trend shortly.

Geektastic: Very useful for determining which way round they go if you’re dressing in the dark.
Is there some fad here that I'm not aware of?
