Is JA acceptable? Some people use that and it doesn't seem disrespectful.

I think JA is OK. Context is everything.

@freitasm I did not mean too upset or annoy you. I have mentioned on GZ a few times that I have two dyslexic sons that were badly bullied and even teased by a couple of teachers because of their spelling. It was very heartbreaking and as a result I very sensitive about this. Not all people misspell words because they are lazy. This is a Tech internet forum as long as the meaning is clear I think we ignore the spelling or grammar errors here and there as we have no idea of circumstances of the person typing the message. Inclusiveness and tolerance costs nothing.

Here is a crazy notion, lets give peace a chance.

You can't tell people what annoys them, just as you can't tell someone what their opinion is. Whether or not a person acts on their annoyance doesn't diminish it.

Try not to be a dick. It's a bannable offence.

freitasm: In here she is either Jacinda Ardern or Prime Minister.

What if you are related to her --- I am.

Dangerous admission. Everyone will start trying to blame Kiwibuild on you. But I'm sure you can get dispensation to call her 'auntie'.

Fine, just another angle, I think you are being humourless.

I do however agree that people should not intentionally misspell any PM's name . Same for party names, you see all sorts of spelling for Labour on kiwiblog.

I was not being humourless. I was being serious and you being a jester. There's a time for everything. Being a jester after I post a serious warning is not the time.

No need to reply.

This should really be in the FUG. It's there for company names but not for politicians. While it seems like fun and games to call Trump or Peters funny names it always ends in this whataboutism nonsense. It's not hard to use proper names.
