Mine is an 08 so doesn't have trick things like ESC.
In general I wouldn't expect a RWD to understeer unless it's got a locked rear diff pushing it.  And the utes tend to be set up for heavy loads so can get a bit tail happy without a load on if you are un-delicate about your throttle use.
SUV's I'm not sure about as I don't often drive them but if you tried the originally described application in an AWD, you'd probably get understeer followed rapidly by lift-off oversteer followed by a power spin cycle.  Would be entertaining to watch.

My 00/01 falcon ute is super slide happy with its antique suspention set up, no weight on the back and supercats. Have to really baby it around the place in the damp.

sm1ff: People who claim soundbars are better. And are unwilling to consider a proper av reciever system.

[Mod edit (MF): calling out removed]

"Better" might not be based on audio quality - but a compromise for convenience.

The complete quotes were "...best decision for us BTW..." and "...is good enough for my purposes..."

We just fired up my old Civic after a protracted bottom end build (I got crook, broke some bones etc, etc). Tore the top down to find an engine leak, sorted and went to put back together with the new cambelt... Which I didn't bring with me. And I live two hours away from where we were doing it. Awkward call to my partner asking if she felt like a drive...

Yes - especially JayCar Wairau Road - one hour wrong between their website and what's posted on their door for weekend opening time - so you drive across town and get there an hour before they open. I complained to them and they just did not give a stuff - that was nine months ago and no change. Maybe they're not so techy after all and don't know how to change their website. 👎

@trig42 Thanks for that. Must have moved recently - I was in the old one just a few weeks ago. Hope they haven’t simply taken their old ‘hours’ door sign to the new location.

The new location has got to be an improvement over the old, which was a female dog to get into and out of, poor parking etc.

Inane Press Conferences where nothing actually new is presented.

Just more promises of "how we won't get it wrong again".

Rinse and repeat!

D-Link free product redemption -- -  filled in their online claim form, did everything they wanted, uploaded every single document they requested... Had 7 green ticks on their claim form which activated the submit button..... clicked and submitted.....

Now I receive an email that my claim is denied because I hadn't supplied them with some information that was not requested on the claim form.... what am I , a crystal ball reader?

I don't trust this government at all.

Lie after lie after lie, until so much evidence is against them .

Just got an email from HBO advertising 'HBO Max' streaming. The link to start a trial goes to a 'you need to be in the US' page. What is the point in emailing non-US customers in the first place?

I get heaps of those. Even Amazon, which ought to have good systems, frequently offers me products when I search which will not ship to the destination (NZ) that I have asked it to comply with...

The subscription model that is now applied to lots of software these days. I can understand it for things like virus software updates, but too many are adopting the model (it seems like) just to get more cash. I'd rather out-and-out buy something one time.
