Everyone must laugh at others who post they have phones <2 years old and say 'OMG I have such an old phone'. Maybe it's just me. By the way my phone is a Nokia N95 that loves to randomly reboot all the time and now overheats and gives me 4-6 hours battery life per day. I suppose it's not that old comparatively to people who post ancient phones that don't have colour screens, etc, but it's not a competition of who has the crappiest phone...

My HTC Magic

This is my HTC Magic, it was probably one of the first in the country. You may notice the background, it is an active wallpaper I made which you can download for free on the Google Market.
The name of the live wallpaper is Blizzard (Search for 'Blizzard Live Wallpaper')

I love my phone, I would see how the prize phone performed and give either my phone or the Ideos to my partner.

Cheers :)

I currently have a nokia 2730 classic, but that phone does not get reception near my house!(everywhere else seems to work) so I also have a telecom ZTE R5, which i hate but I cannot afford to buy another phone. So winning this phone would be pretty sweet.

I think Android has potentials but I need some convincing. Currently using iPhone 3GS.

With all the your Mr Google poop I get from certain quarters it'll come as quite a surprise that I don't have an Android phone ... I am still wandering the streets with an iPhone 3G and with the latest update of iOS I think it's time to stop.

Somehow I'm using the LG KM900 Arena as a low-cost iPhone alternative.  With such a slow interface and poor outdoor sunlight performance I'm surprised it hasn't reverted to kit-set long ago!

I currently own the worst phone that Nokia have ever made - a 2610. WHY would you put a mirror reflective surface on a screen?? Almost impossible to read it with any ambient light.
I am disorganised and forgetful, so a PDA type device would be fantastic.

Hopefully someone has written for Android a 'Localander' or 'personder' that triggers reminders not based on a time or date (a Calander), but based on where you are (GPS) or who you are talking too (voice recognition). Don't you hate it how as soon as you wave goodbye to someone, you remeber what you were supposed to ask them about, or when you get home you realise you forgot to get something while you were there?
I have vowed to buy an iPhone if and when someone writes such an app. Obviously an Android based smartphone could run such software too.

I'm lucky enough to have a Galaxy S (and I absolutely love Android), so I'd so much like to introduce my wife to the Android world with the IDEOS (to replace this thing, that suddenly seems so out of date!)

My current phone is owned by the company I work for - unfortunately the company I work for don't want me to work for them much longer.

The IDEOS would be ideal.

I have the 'Vodafone'.

The 'vodafone'

Must be three years old now at least. I always found it funny that when I'd call Vodafone for support, they'd ask me what model I had, and I'd say 'Vodafone' and they'd say 'yes, this is Vodafone, which model do you have?' and we'd go on like this for some time. Then I'd have to remove the battery and read out the serial number.

The asian-happy-pop ringtones also amuse me. I use the one I consider the dorkiest.

I like the idea of the larger screen on the IDEOS U8150-D as I'm struggling to read some things on my Nokia E71 with my aging eyes. It'll be fun to play with Android and a touch screen too. I went for the mechanical keyboard when I got the E71 but perhaps this IDEOS U8150-D may convince me to change my ways.Undecided

My old htc has seen better days, photos are fuzzy & weighs half a tonne - still makes calls though, so I shouldn't complain..

Have a nice day..
