Consumer goods on sale at major retailers with pricing that indicate a premium product.... but then you check the overseas websites and find that it is a low-end budget model selling for 1/3 the NZ price.

Looking at you Harvey Norman!!!

Any product advertised as "European style." Utterly meaningless babble.

Unknown subcontractors of Chorus leaving rubbish behind by the UFB cabinet in my street. There's a cardboard box, cut off bits of fibre and other UFB related stuff left on the footpath and in the gutter this week. Not a good look guys.

Someone must have read my earlier post. All the crap that was left behind has now been cleaned up.

When the Dunedin City Council show on a map which streets they grit during winter...and then don't do it.

"I'm sorry Sir I cant put you through to roading right now, I'm sure you can appreciate how busy they are clearing up accidents after last nights frost..."

Well, if they had done their job in the first place..???

All the pedestrian crossings in Lower Hutt that are much too close to the roundabouts. If someone's approaching or on the crossing and you stop at the line (like the Subaru in the pic below) you end up blocking the intersection.

Very poor design.

Actually I was going to write, all Lower Hutts roundabouts in their CBD  annoy me. They have all these horrible tiny roundabouts, which even buses can hardly get around. Round abouts need to be large to work well.

"RSP"

Yes I know why - but I'm finding the religious zealotry a bit much to take.

I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but since we're on roundabouts, botanical freakn' gardens!  I'm sure truck drivers and people in Jeeps or Hummers don't have an issue but I do.

I drive a sports car, but I'm no lower in my seat than a motorcyclist or average Honda Civic driver or something.  The Auckland council would rather I stare at dying flowers and light brown gorse than accurately determine traffic flow in my general direction to make a safe entrance.

I've seriously considered taking a weed trimmer to my local one.  A statue or rock garden would look much better and allow for better visibility.
