It's not a tour, it's a concert (and in b***dy Auckland of course, Wellington goes without again).
Sometimes I use big words I don't always fully understand in an effort to make myself sound more photosynthesis.
Today's shocker. Users are melting down when Facebook is unavailable https://www.stuff.co.nz/technology/digital-living/108689802/something-went-wrong-facebook-users-in-meltdown-after-social-media-site-crashes

Geektastic:
"A rarely known timesaving iPhone hack has blown the minds of thousands of people online."
What's the bet that it's in the user guide?
I bet it's the Tweet posted today that you can press and hold on the space bar and it acts as a trackpad for the text cursor.
Until someone mentioned is the whole keyboard area.
And someone added that was part of the keynote demo a few years ago.
So, yes, "went viral!"

Well, I've checked, and that feature is indeed in the user guide! (page 88). It seems to only work on the space bar for me, not the rest of the keyboard, but that could be due to my somewhat esoteric keyboard settings.
Super powerful interstellar ticking time bomb found not far from earth
Maybe I'm being pedantic, but about 75,685,843,780,646,400 kilometres or 8,000 light years ain't that close to me.

I think the issue is if ended up with a gamma ray burst that was aimed at Earth, that would toast everything. Even then it would be 8000 years plus the ratio that the gamma rays speed is to the speed of light

Maybe it has already exploded, and the gamma rays are already 3/4 of the way here.
So we will all be dead in 2000 years time instead of 8000 years time. Oh well.
Best cancel that holiday...

"Luckily," says Professor Peter Tuthill, an astronomer at the University of Sydney who was part of the team that studied the dangerous stars, "this one isn't pointed to us at all – it won't be coming our way."
Panic over.

Have you considered that the methane-potential of 500 tins of baked beans may be able to run a car for a while?
