MikeB4:

That the end of 2020 has given me something new to deal with like there has not been enough already. I have started to get very bad and painful spasms in my legs, hands, back and neck. Somewhat embarrassing while out as my hands get twisted all out of shape. No idea why but I guess another challenge to deal with.

Is this why you were looking up the prices of CBD oil ?

To help control with the spasms?

The newspaper article did advise to shop around for the best price CBD oil as it varies significantly.

As always Mike, take care.

The number of people driving while using a phone in their hand!

Currently we are a detour Street due to Road Works. All day you see it! They don't half make it obvious if they are texting - the queue ahead of them has long gone!

.... and they are on the road with you and me!

You are in my area, where? Im in Aidanfield.

When you're waiting for a courier and you hear a diesel engine, so you look out the window and see a courier driving right past your house without stopping.

Waiting for a courier and seeing couriers arrive across the road and deliver packages over and over and over again...and still I wait.

My laptop fans making strange noises. Normally the only time I ever hear the fans come on is when I render 4K video.
The last week the fans have come on intermittently, but it sounds like a dog sniffing, like the fans can't decide to start or not.

I saw some pictures of Pohutukawas flowering today. We were meant to go home for Christmas on Friday.

“THE END IS COMING” said Death of Laptops, encouragingly.

That’s sad for you all.

Picture my tree instead and the muttering it gets...a red carpet of fallen flowers that are stuck down all over a white outdoor table and chairs so you can’t sit without spending an hour brushing hard with soap and hosing.

We also are separated from family this Christmas and it’s really, really hard. There's a knot inside you no matter how much you sugar coat it or repeat platitudes. Best wishes.

It is what it is. We have so much to be grateful for and there are people in far worse positions than us.

Tracking my parcel as it jumps across the world from uk 8 stops so far including the od one saying something about customs clearance, pretty seamless.

Final arrives in Auckland (I don't live in auckland) up posts "Package is delayed in transit. Delivery will be rescheduled. Check back or signup for UPS My Choice to receive updates"...

It might just be awaiting customs clearance in which case say that... but I'm left with feeling that something has gone wrong only when it hits nz...

Shadowfoot:

Having to relist a trademe auction after the person who won, initially responded but now ghosts me despite having email, mobile, and address, and could arrange to pick up what they won.

Getting a couple of texts (yesterday and today) and an email from the auction winner today. Her previous response was 29 Nov and her email today included the email thread where I asked (2 Dec) her about arranging a time to collect, and then one (5 Dec) about relisting it if she wasn't interested.

Complain to TradeMe. This also covers you if she complains. You can never be sure what people like this will do.
