I ordered a couple of boxes of contact lenses from clearly.co.nz yesterday (Monday). The order confirmation gave an estimated delivery date of Friday. They shipped same day from Sydney on DHL and were delivered today, Tuesday.

I don't really understand how they manage to do this, but this has been the pattern for past orders too.

Item was quickish Auckland to Christchurch!

Now I wait..............and wait..........

Well I'm surprised......PBT delivered before 6am this morning. 

I am not having to email anywhere as many tracking numbers as late last year so I think that they have their act together, or people are just now so used to it they wait a few extra days before following up about things.

A month since it "arrived" in country. 2 weeks since I queried it, and nothing's changed

Now I'm getting radio silence from nz post regarding my query about it. methinks it's lost.

Finally, a response!

It's taken following up via twitter to get a response that wasn't "we're waiting on our international team to reply" from nz post. They will be compensating me for my parcel.

Wow, given Auckland's weather woes, and CourierPost's delays:

Ordered some items yesterday on TM.

Sent via CourierPost. Once picked up, NZPost showed expected delivery today in Christchurch.

I didn't give it any hope of arriving today as I had not received anything overnight from Auckland for years!

It has already arrived! Wow!

Finally, a response!

So compensation comes through today, $109.08. The invoices I sent them totaled $103.27. Go figure

At this point I'm glad to be done having to chase them for updates

Whereas my amazon thru DPD thru aramex has been sitting on some customs crap for 2 weeks now with them not responding.
