Tinkerisk:I think where you live is not good for your health in the long run.
The whole City (Everyone I know has "issues" in their neighbourhood too!) seems to be like it!

Then I must correct that it is not good for you all in the long run.

gzt: It is common for vehicle colour to be listed incorrectly. Did I miss something about this vehicle?
Given the address where it went, and the number of unregistered etc vehicles associated with it, all I wanted was for them to update the system to show it as white, given the photographic evidence!
Last week I gave a "heads up" about a large party..... 2 1/2 hours later the riot squad ran at speed up Hansons Lane and dispersed it finally.
Most of the drunks were parked in our Street and were free to drive home! Not one Car or Officer entered Arthur Street!
The Blenheim Road / Hansons Lane worksite was totally decimated!
Probably totally avoidable!
Yes when vehicles regularly turn up to certain addresses on incorrect plates, or with mismatched plates front and rear, or with electrical tape changing numbers, or the wrong colour, or the wrong year (by a decade) but the same make, or the station wagon version of the sedan the plate should go to. And other permutations. They're 99.9% likely to be dodgy and all you can do is log it and let the Police not handle it.
Wellingtondave:...log it and let the Police not handle it.
Unfortunately, you seem very correct these days!
Today's Whiskey Tango moment comes courtesy of Stuff: What will NZ Look like to our 18 year olds when they are middle aged
An interesting premise, you might say...that is until I read this at the beginning of the article:
"As a fairly rough-looking 26-year-old, whose veneer of youthful glow has faded into a wrinkled mask of cynicism, I look at young people with envy.
They are beautiful and clever, with the bright shining eyes that come with having a world view yet to be jaded and twisted by the cruelty of life.
But despite my personal jealousy, it is hard to not be impressed by the younger generation."
Um, excuse me while I eyeroll my way to my middle-aged cynicism at someone aged 26 years old implying they are both middle-aged and envious of "young people" who are barely a few years younger than themselves.
Come back and write this article when you're in your 40's, buddy.

My response was more along the lines of “Tell it to your grandchildren. Oh wait, you’re probably not even old enough to have children”. (If he does, it possibly explains being old before his time.)😏

Getting a second "Household" census form in the mail today. So now I have two addressed to this household, with a different Household Private Access Code on each.
Nice work Stats. *facepalm*

Calling them morons is a bit silly when the reason they deliver it to the house is that the Census form is meant to be filled in by whoever occupies the premises on the Census night, absolutely nothing to do with who owns or rents the premises. It belongs to the house itself.
