Actually, I do have a proper use for this now. My Vodafone Landline & Broadband is not getting activated until the 30th so I am currently without internet at home. This spot is in 2 Degrees Broadband Coverage so would be good, plus when I do get Broadband activated at my house, I will use this as a backup connection just in case the uneventful happens and I lose my Broadband.

At the moment if a customer rings up and is having problems with their Server, I can't SSH in to check it out.

Been looking at one of these to set up a unattended monitoring system at my uncles old house, they no longer have a phone connected there and it is a little secluded, he has been paranoid about security, so figuring I have enough old hardware to set up a fair bit of monitoring, with a wireless wifi it sorts out all the problems of getting the alerts out.

hi *blush* not really sure what this is, we do use 2degrees mobile connection, been all good, just watch out if you have automatic anti virus update when you are trying to put more credit on your account, ek it connects before you ve had a chance to put the credit on and so instead of havin $50 i only had $49.90 funtime, 5 phone calls and 3 hours wasted sorted AGH!  Anyway my stp dad sent me cos hes the one whose all up with the computer stuff, programmer, and said i need one of these awesome, ok?, has flashing lights cool! so thats my story cheers.
