mattwnz: I am actually having trouble with DSE at the moment. Trying to get something replaced under it's warranty, but they say the model is no longer available, and I would have to pay the difference if I want the equivalent new model. I got the original on special, but the newer model is not on special and is double the price I paid, and they are actually selling it for a lot more than the manufacturers own RRP. Anyone know if I do have to pay extra?
I have a similar issue.I bought a harmony remote 785 from DSE for $140 1.5 years ago (RRP was ~$300).
It developed a fault, googled the warranty and it has a 2yr warranty.
Went into DSE and they said it only has 1yr warranty so out of luck.I tell them on google it says 2yr so they investigate and find their system has listed the incorrect warranty and it is in fact 2 yrs.
The logitech warranty is to replace or refund. I need to replace, and the 785 model is no longer stocked. Now they're offering to replace my 785 with a 700 which is a major downgrade so I declined . I don't want a refund as my 785 was an amazing deal.I just want them to fix my 785!
