I have become a fan of Nordic TV and have been looking for productions as good as The Bridge, though I haven't found any so far. I just watched the first series of Jordskott but I won't be watching any more. It wasn't completely horrible, but it wasn't that good, either. The plot wandered all over the place, the actions often didn't seem to make much sense, character motivation was arbitrary and haphazard, and the mythological elements were confusing, misplaced and largely pointless, though they might make more sense to a Swedish audience. It was good enough to keep me watching, but left me disappointed in the end.

Just watched this week's episode of Westworld.

Interesting....the plot thickens.

The UK series Humans has started back up with Season 3 starting to air. Loved the first two seasons and this season is already looking bloody fantastic.

Watched the Series Finale 2 Episodes of The Middle. Sad when a series you have watched for 9 years ends. They did a good job of wrapping it up.

Up to episode 3 of Killing Eve - liking it so far - tension building!

Can thoroughly reccommend a french cop/legal series called Engrenages (or has been aired with an english title of Spiral (BBC)).  Series 6 finished screening in France in February. It started in 2005 - so it takes them a while to make it. It has had the same core cast all that time and they really give the characters some depth - has some very good actors as well. Its Paris but the grubby parts. The cops often make mistakes which they end up covering up - so at least relatably human. The stories all have links to the french judiciary which is considerably different to our own system and is very interesting as well. Start watching and you will be hooked.

Watched the last Lucifer. Shame it's now cancelled but apparently two back-to-back episodes (recorded before the cancellation but for next season) will be aired next week.

Also watched The Blacklist season finale and it's a good twist.

look out for  The Eagle: A Crime Odyssey. (Ørnen: En krimi-odyssé") it's a Danish show. It's an older show but i really enjoyed it. And if you havent seen the french  crime show , Braquo then that is well worth a watch.

I rewatched Season 1 of Westworld on a sick day yesterday.  Oh boy it's good.  Picked up on heaps of stuff I missed the first time around.

Give it a couple of episodes. Was slow starting (I thought), but it grows on you.

Finished watching season 1 of Deep State on TVNZ On Demand last night. I still rate it as 8/10. Very John le Carré. They have left it open for a second season which I can not wait for.

The only let down was in the last two episodes with the appearance of the big boss behind all the shenanigans. The actor Pip Torrens who is usually the quintessential English actor (The Crown on Netflix) played this role. What an appalling American accent. I think it was meant to be Texan based on the character bio.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.
