Yes, although I've never seen them outside the CBD.

I started writing an email to the council when I made my earlier post, but decided to put it on hold until I was less annoyed; the last thing they'd want is a rant!

Edit: I feel I should point out my reasons, so that I'm not just whinging for the sake of whinging. With all the rain recently, the ground's soft and I now have two clear tyre tracks leading to her parking spot. There is also plenty of room to legally park on the road, and there is no time restriction.

I just call my council when an inconsiderate parker annoys me and they generally get a warden out.

Totally feel ya on the damaged grass. I'm down a right of way and although it is a straight drive, couriers in particular seem to not be able to reverse back up the drive without tearing up the grass verge on one side of the drive. Very infuriating.

If you can't laugh at yourself then you probably shouldn't laugh at others.

Absolutely not. Willful and malicious damage is never okay.

The amount of time you "waste" on hold then advising your telco that yet again your monthly discount has disappeared from your bill for the month!

CSR agrees that it should be there, and that it isn't! Will escalate it and get it fixed and email a revised bill!

How many people don't notice? How much extra per month do they make from all the people who don't notice?

Is the car on the footpath or the grass berm? Councils have differing rules on berm parking.

The thing I'd read (which I don't feel like re-hunting for) said that everything between the kerb and private land is considered footpath, whether or not it's paved. The word "berm" doesn't appear in the relevant legislation at all (assuming that the search on legislation.govt.nz actually works).

However, the local council's site makes it clear:

"Infringement notices can be issued for a variety of traffic offences, including [...] parking on grass verges or on the footpath [...]"

When the official keyboard case for a Samsung Tablet is 1/4 the cost of the tablet itself. Outrageous.

Try Apple for ridiculous cost/benefit ratios.

New Apple iPad Air $1250.00

Apple iPad Magic Keyboard $549

44% of the cost of a device...for a keyboard!

Worse if you buy the base model at $999...55%

Utterly disgraceful.

This is really, really, small, but it really really annoys me.

Neanderthal supermarket deciders who insist on putting vegetarian items next to meat ones in the freezer and refrigerator sections. It is confusing and revolting. Veggie sausage roll (or whatever) has nothing whatsoever to do with the one dripping in blood. Can you not get that through your primitive meat-eating pea brain?

Yeah. Really annoys me when I'm in a rush and inadvertently pick up the wrong type and don't realise until I get home that I've chosen the incorrect one.

Egghh.. vege sausage rolls again ..

I'm no vegetarian but I quite like those vege rolls things.  There's actually quite a range of meat alternatives available that we buy from time to time, Samosas and a pack of patty things my wife gets for example

I think if the sausage rolls are dripping in blood, you should contact the manager of your store and bring that to their attention immediately. I've never seen that, and given the way they are made and what they contain, it's somewhat surprising they would be in that state.

Not being able to find sausage rolls dripping in blood. They sound quite delicious in a black pudding kind of way.
