I currently own a 10+ year old ReadyNas, it does the job ok for basic storage/backups, but having watched some of the videos, from a software point of view it's clearly outdated. Also don't underestimate the power of a good UI, and this seems to have it.

Really good stuff! Was not aware of all these services offered by Synology.  Am especially impressed with  C2 password. Really got me interested in in. Definitly a service I need to try out.

Use a Synology NAS for our business and it's been an absolute lifesaver. Especially for data retention using Google Active Backup.  However, I'd love to have a NAS for home use.
