With the festive season upon us, I am looking to spend quite a few $$$ at a liquor store.

Does anyone know of, or can recommend a liquor shop / chain that may give a discount if you spend a few hundred dollars ?

I'm in the Howick area if that is of any use.

Thanks

Yeah I know it's not a huge amount, will probably be around $500.

Just wondered if anyone had any joy getting a free bottle of something or if they just flatly refused.

If you are just after beer and wine, my experience is that the supermarkets seem to typically offer significantly better pricing than other liquor outlets.

Thanks for the replies.

It will all be spirits etc, so unfortunately can't go to the supermarket.

I have seen that liquorland offer flybuys, so i might just go there and maybe ask if they can give a discount.

What sort of discount are you expecting on a $500 purchase?

my Dad always haggles with liquor places and usually gets around 15% off, if you're good at haggling you should be able to save some money pretty much anywhere, doesnt hurt to ask/try :)

head up to the guys behind the prospect and have a yarn, we've done large purchases there and received really good pricing rather then "free" goods.
