A very close friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with terminal esophageal cancer, she is only 35 and is a single mother to a 17 month old boy. There is a drug (pembrolizumab) which has proven extremely successful in her kind on cancer, she has been given a 4% chance of the chemo that she's on stoping the groth or shrinking the cancer vs this drug 60% ball park. The only catch is this drug isn't subsidised in New Zealand yet and it will cost in the region of 200k and she doesn't believe we can get there. We have set up a give a little page for her and any help would be appreachated.
