The aircon has been on since 9am and was on all night in the bedroom.

This ain't hot! When I was a kid, we walked in bare feet on the surface of the sun to school without complaint.

Hawke's Bay reported to have hit 37 degrees!

It's 34 here in the other Bay (of Plenty). No aircon in my place but I have the fan at full tilt...

Edit: Clean your pedestal fans! I just cleaned mine as it had a "bit" of dust, and it's now giving more airflow on setting 1 than it previously was on 3. It didn't look *that* dusty, but cleaning it has helped immensely.

Can report 21 degrees on the Kapiti Coast. Seems like we are dodging the first of the heatwave.

21? Pfft. That's not even summer. Does it ever get warm down there?

We could afford shoes....

past few weeks my room as averaged 32-36c with fan and open windows..

50~70% humidity.. it's deadly for motivation i swear.
