Anyone else having issues with 3 in chch tonight?  Just watching the movie and it's crap, just keeps dropping out like they're playing it off old tape and the machine's on it's last legs.

Same thing here. Happened on both tvs, both with freeview. Gave up and watched from the DVD. Why we didn't do that to begin with I can't tell you.

Yeah my TiVo is just getting a "Problem with the signal on this antenna channel" message at the moment, then sometimes it works. I would say that the latest quake has either broken something, or it's broken in general.

Quite annoying for us folk without Sky.

All the TV channels use BCL for transmission these days?

Get what you pay for I guess.

Yes same thing here in Dunedin, trying to watch the James bond film all night didn't work out. Was cutting out on freeview and analogue.

Had dad up on the roof trying to fix the arial for half an hour until i came on here and read about it :(

Before last September earthquake and the 222 earthquake, we also had freeview signal problem. Then the earthquake happened.

Now it's happening again, and on a larger scale, affecting both Dunedin and Chch, I hope some tech guy come up and tell us it's a human mistake. Or it will be to scary to think about the possibilities

Who maintains the free to air tv3 reception in christchurch? Kordia? Who should we contact to get this issue fixed? Or has the problem fixed itself? DonGould?
