For those of you using Google + how are you finding it so far ? Do you have more strangers in your circles than
friends. Who are you following and will you continue to use it in the future ?

Good point. Because I'm sure quite a few, like myself, joined, thought "meh" and left...

I thought meh the first time, then as more and more activity has started flowing I check it a bit more regularly, still only once or twice a week though.

I got two invites, but I see no point. I read an article last night that said the main users were technical guys in the USA, and google employees.

Haven't been on it in a week or more.... just not enough happening on there yet. I do like how it's cleaner than FB so am looking forward to what it ultimately can do!

Depending on when you joined Twitter and Facebook, they were pretty "meh" when first joined too. I joined Twitter in 2007 and it was a barren, pointless wasteland (I know you could argue it still is...)

As gehenna has said, as more people join and more features are added I think it'll start to become more popular. The thing it will need though is a reason for people to use it, something that neither Twitter nor Facebook offers. And I think at least for the time being, it's lacking that.

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

What I find a little confusing is how it wants you to add people who you have already added before - because they have more than one e-mail address associated with their names.

ive given up of facebook all the security changes.

i use twitter a lot.

im starting to use google+ a fair bit now, now that i know people on it (mostly people i work with who arent on my facebook or twitter), none of my friends seem interested in joining.

personally i like it, i find my self putting something on google+ i would normally have posted via twitter. i like being able to write longer messages than 140 characters (sometimes it can be annoying have to edit a post down). i like the interface a lot, reminds me of facebook of old. now theres a iphone app im posting photos etc on it.

i dont like how it keeps suggesting people ive emailed once or twice in the years ive had gmail as friends (often people i have bought stuff off trademe, or contacted for a product enquiry).

I'm still waiting for them to allow Google Apps users to sign up! The logic behind that still irks me.

I also use google apps. And like most google apps users we are the paying google customers.

Yet we unable to use google+ and many of the other free google services.

But the people with the free gmail accounts have access to the lot. Google Apps customers are treated like second class citizens when it should be the other way round.

It irks me too to have to use a second gmail account just to try out the google+. Irks me so much I no longer log into it as it becomes a nightmare using 2accounts, especially from your Android device.

Social sites need people. It'll be a while before G+ takes off, if it ever does.

Could just be another flop like Wave or the initial implementation of Buzz, but now that G+ is on top of every Google app/page, it might slowly catch on.

Yes it does appear that way. But I have noticed there is a large photographers community on G+
for example I have 34 people in my 'Lovers of coffee' circle.

I also am an Apps user, so no Google+ for me yet. Surely they could have got it sorted by now?

Cheers,

I'm in there purely as a placeholder as I am sure it will become a staple part fo the android diet :P

I hate FB but as far as integrating contacts into my android phonebook it is magic, if someone adds/changes emails/ph no.s etc it automatically updates, i see/hope G+ matching this functionality or hoepfully beating it once it gains some momentum
