Update

36 hours after install
Battery this morning on way to work was on 12.4v (80%)
Not bad considering temp didn't go past 3deg yesterday and fogged in all day
Got some sun today, so should top up battery

Modem working flawlessly, radios doing their thing

Networking guru's, how do you access the radio's via the WAN port on router?
I can access the Modem in bridge mode on the WAN port with router (running Tomato Shibby)
Just haven't been able to access the radios, or can they be seen at all in this scenario ?
Any help here would be appreciated

I'll probably get back too late tonight to take photo's of the external setup.
But they are coming, tomorrow I may have a few seconds more of day light :)

@Hio77, i should have done this when i lived next to a cabinet but the cable pairs went on a 400M round trip to terminate directly next to that cabinet then go down my driveway. How ever i dont think Chorus would like a HG659 sitting on their mainframe haha.

What are the current IP addresses of the modem, router and radios? It won't take too much to sort out making all the devices visible.

Router DHCP's over 192.168.0.XXX, WAN put through 192.168.1.1 (DV130)
I made the Radio's 192.168.1.2 and .3 respectively (didn't work in the .0.XXX range either)

Awesome setup, just one question, why step voltage up to 24v and inject PoE rather than just plugging in the 12v input on the router directly?

Yup, Litebeam 24v POE running via 12-24v converter

DV130 running directly off battery (ie 12v)

I don't see why they would care. If you wanted to be extra legal beagle you would ask Chorus to make the changes to the service lead and the waterproof box would need an external Chorus ETP so they still have that demarcation.

Also, nice results on that radio link. Like you mentioned, maybe a little bit of fiddling to get the chains a bit more balanced.

I'm working late tonight so no piccy to prove its not an eye sore.
I do own the land up to the road, and the cable to the house, I pay monthly fees and should something go wrong, fess up and take responsibility for it
I have no need to touch the cable again, I've got a spare battery should current run out of oomph in extended period of no sun

So you're using the Draytek as a modem; and the Netgear as the router? I would have thought you'd use the Draytek as Modem+Router and then just used a switch in the house, making the two UBNT radios part of your 'internal' network - then they can just pickup DHCP addresses from the Draytek and be like any other device on your network.

Had thought about that, but wasn't sure about everything getting sorted out by road and coming back again would do to performance
