the important thing to consider here is that this particular complaint was only raised for the first time via this forum ....

 

 

I suspect people raise issues on fora because that seems to be the fastest way to get attention from some internet providers.  Seems to get prompter attention than ringing a helpline.

 

How often does someone post on here that the have been ignored, deferred and generally given the run-around by their provider.  Yet 7 seconds after they post someone from that company is tripping all over themselves to be helpful.

My understanding is that attempts were made to raise this with the ISP prior the issue being raised in this forum, however in this case I am just the messenger!
