DarthKermit:

Chorus have updated their map:

Here

Haven't stopped drooling since I checked my address and discovered that I'm scheduled for ''Fibre up to 1 Gbps by Aug-2019"... and my street turns blue when I use the slider on the Chorus webpage.

"Fibre broadband is coming to your place April 2019"

Which is nice. Except last month it said March 2019.  So who knows really.

Not good. .

My 'coming to' date is August 2019, which is already too close to the Rugby World Cup that starts 20th September 2019. Don't want to hear about delays, etc. as I probably want to upgrade to Vodafone TV packages for fibre... and who knows what additional services I'll need to sign up to to watch the live rugby.

I contacted Chorus.

"Thank you for contacting Chorus, I hope you’re well.

I’ve had a look into this and currently there are no plans to roll out fibre to your area. However, this could change and I would encourage you to keep an eye out on government notices to see if this changes."
