If it's not VPN then my guess is going to be some kind of virtual desktop hosted in the US which you can log into to watch Netflix, Hulu etc etc.

I'm not sure about this though, as far I as know their is no way to watch F1 online with or without VPN. So that makes me think it is something a bit different to that. Who knows though.

How about watching English football with this new service, is that going to be possible?

Ok, with my best hat on for drawing a long bow on things, here is my best guess:

Maxnet are launching a 1TB plan that somehow comes with a service called Fyx which gives you not only a NZ IP address, but also a US one and a UK one that you can switch between at will. Then if you want to sign up to Netflix, iPlayer etc you can easily do it.

I'm already using unblockus dns for access to streaming services, but it would be nice to have a faster international speed for netflix HD streaming. I think 5mbit is the minimum but I barely manage 4mbit to USW servers on speedtest.
