Come on @VygrNetworkMonkey let us know when we can have even higher speeds than our friends in Aussie.

Without being able to commit to anything, so please dont hold it against me...

We are aiming to have Hyperfibre in Q1 2023.
Voyager is currently undertaking a 100G national upgrade, which will help transport all you 8Gbps HF customers!

Any waiting list so I just get the upgrade when it becomes available and you tell me when to be home for the tech to do the ont swap?

Thats a good idea! - I'll throw that at the provisions team and see what we can do there.

In a new build, fibre area but no ONT installed will Chorus engineer install a hyper fibre compatible ONT?

If, would it make future-sense to order hyper fibre for a year or so, to get the ONT and then downgrade to gigabit?

Hi, I understand the price of Hyperfibre ONTs is significantly more expensive, therefore only installed upon the order of a HyperFibre connection.

Once a HyperFibre ONT is installed it remains even if the customer eventually realises they have no use for such speeds and returns to normal GPON.

This is correct. Hyperfibre ONT will only be installed on request of a Hyperfibre connection. But will not be removed if you swap down at a later stage. ^Richard

Just to confirm the ONT is 'downgrade' compatible with a gigabit service

Understand that you can't commit to anything (and we won't hold it against you), but will Voyager support using Hyperfibre in bridge mode so we can use our own routers as the gateway?

Heya @amanzi

Yes, we are definitely looking towards the bridged mode option, so you'll be able to use your own CPE
