Odd Draytek added Modem 8 not all that long ago for Aussies NBN
I get better results from Modem 4 (ie more stable), modem 8 has higher upload speed but I get more CRC's
you are riddled with CRC's any connection speed gained will be lost in error correction.

UPDATE - I see Draytek Australia website does say modem 8 now for Australia and NZ, same VDSL driver as previous firmware where it was for NBN

I wonder if I should use modem4 or modem8 then, I was on standard for some time and it worked well but had no stats, modem8 seems good so far? maybe I need to leave it longer? I've only had it for about 5 or so days, if things don't improve I could try modem4 I guess?

My errors on upload seem to be there right from connection, then very few more get added over time, its something to do with connecting that creates them.

If its not broken don't fix it.
ddDLM can take up to 10days to sort it self out, so any changes allow 2 weeks of leaving alone
Keep an eye on those errors, if they continue to grow, give Modem 4 ago

STD FW has been broken with stats since the D130 came into the world, wonder why they never sorted it.

This morning must have had a complete reset from Cabinet
Upstream stats have reset back to zero, I assume these are kept on linecard as modem resync/reboots don't affect it.
Slight increase in both UP and Downstream connection rates

Pity the DV130 doesn't show if vectoring is being used (doubt it is)

was the date for the planned outage to installed the cards, matches your experienced timing, so yeah vectoring capable linecards are installed.

Until vectoring goes live, means very little else.

I've seen these cards do ever so slightly better than the older broadcom based cards but magin of error sorta stuff.

Profiles (or atleast the ones currently being tested) change things very heavily however..

OK, the old linecard in the cabinet was a Broadcom unit, so they replaced it with another Broadcom linecard, strange

Looking at ATU in DV130 diagnostics the vendor IDs are identical now as they were late last year when I took a last snip of the diagnostics
Oh well nice to have refreshed upstream stats, even though lightning storm last night has ruined perfect stats :)

Yep, it's a bit of a minor card change.

I'm told these do a max of 150mbit combined rate, They support vectoring where as the others dont however.
