Ok, so now that I have VDSL, running at 44.1Mbit, and 2dB attenuation, what is the process to change my 8a profile to the experimental 17a one? Just ring ISP and enquire?

I take it the Fritzbox's handle profile 17a?

I have read that it is still under trial, but if you have a short loop then they (chorus) may consider you...

Yea i am also at 2dB so hope they will approve the 17a profile for you. Think you just ring your ISP and put in the request.

Good luck, look forward to the results.

Napster: Do you see any option like this in the Fritz box?

Internet -> DSL Information -> Interference Resistance

Apparently there are some sliders which you can move for stability or performance.

Snapped this from the net. From Fritzbox 7390

It has it too, havent tried it though

Yes I have. Works fine. Only change I noticed was now when I log in it goes straight to the overview page whereas before it didn't.

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Nice stats, Does the DLM automatically change interleaving depth? I notice that both your downlink and uplink delay is at 1ms. Interested to know since ill be playing BF3

Just give it a few days for the modem to self adjust. Your Impulse noise protection values and bitswap may change to stabilise the connection. Mine did.

My Latency is 8ms too, I wonder how that is worked out?  ([EDIT] via INP)

the 17a all depends on the firmware on the isam. some have it loaded and ready to go, some can have the firmware upgrade and there are a few isams that wont be able to be upgraded for a while

also still getting these errors after updating firmware. just id a modem restart 5 minutes ago and already have this many errors. could have something to do with that fact that the cabinet is located on my property

Hey NZFinest, how long did DLM take to set you on that low latency profile? My VDSL has been up for a week and its still on 8ms down and up with 0.0 INP.

not sure how long so i have just rest my fritz box and will see how long it takes and let you know it is back to 8 as well now after the reset. although i must add the cabinet is located basicly on the propity so that might have something to do with it

No worries thanks, be nice if you could request a profile change but DLM is all Automatic.

Yea could see from your stats that your are close.

Have changed my training SNRM this morning to 6dB.
Original sync was 48.4Mb/s

Wholesale are still not accepting any requests for 17a bandplan. How long is this going to go on for?
