Reading the Chorus VDSL2 Vectoring white paper (cant post the link) I wonder how much of an impact 'non-vectoring compliant CPE' will have on other customers and if Chorus can do anything about them long term.

I've read the Chorus slide deck and they are talking about 150-160Mbit but that seems to be attainable rather than actual sync rates.

High numbers I have seen are:

DSRATE USRATE

110830 29132

110657 42975

108834 51200

Good point, knew there was an oddball line out there..

Ok, i stand corrected. Seems to be a few profiles out there, the older way of doing caps are not shown now.

Seeing the following downstream "Limits"

110830 - Seems to be outlier case, Single example.

108832 - Very common maximum

100016 - Other common maximum.

I've had mention passed from chorus that there is no maximum figure. I'm not convinced on that confirmation, sounding more like the static quo argument made before profile mistakes are fixed...

More investigation to be had, 100016 is definitely far more common. 21 to 11..

Just remember these numbers i'm pulling out based on real world, not expected assumptions.

So figured i'd throw out some numbers on this end, having finally gained a spot of time to run the numbers accounting for stable connections this time!

Spent a long time humming and harring over how to show results, without limiting down to single lines and such.

Network wide on this dslam, we saw median speeds grow from 58.7Mbit to a nice 68.9Mbit.

Ended up segmenting it like this (rate before Vectoring)

Sub 30mbit customers

Between 30Mbit and 60Mbit

and 60+Mbit.

I'm still computing alot of the improvement on the underlying level - this change seems to have caused a data mishap on chorus's end :/

final tibid of this analysis is, our lowest end of connections has seen no improvement, the top end already were pegging out and gained a couple of mbit through vectoring still to the top of the profile.

There is also one or two lines out there ossolating like a yoyo following this, need to investigate that here....

Next to none, if not a slight drop.

Chrous currently have vectoring only running on the downstream channel with crosstalk protection on upstream.

Would not surprise me if thats how zerotouch magically works...

Are all Broadcom cabinets now running Vectoring or just a select few ?

Not seen anything happen in my neck of the woods
May need to take the FB7390 to the road to check on the line, DV130 not very forthcoming with vectoring status

Tomorrow i'll look to do the other vectored area, some of the DSLAM's on the announcement didn't actually get Vectoring toggled (or happen to have the numbers for me to realistically pull statistics)
