On Spark and my speed test bursts to 400+ but then drops and finishes around 350.

Does this mean it’s still transitioning or do i need a reboot of my ont/router?

To clarify for those who don't see increased speeds: that's fine - there's nothing wrong.

All LFCs are staggering these rollouts due to the sheer number of connections, and working through circuits nationwide. You'll get your speed boost over the next couple of weeks. :-)

As recorded by SamKnows

I was quietly upgraded from fibre 300x100 to 500x100 yesterday - I got no advice from Chorus, or from my ISP (Voyager).

I'm in Wellington.

I think last time something like this happened, it took quite a while before the bigger players lifted their shaping for customers, so don't panic if you don't see it immediately.

Same here in Northland.  It is probable that Voyager will wait until most or all customers have been upgraded before announcing the change.

Suggest you share your speedtests with your Aussie friends. 500/100 is mind blowing for them. Yet we have 3-4 tiers above that now!

My RSP told me that "you can expect to see a speed boost on your Spark Fibre plan between 16 June and 31 July 2025"
I'm on Tuatahi, not Chorus

Yep checked yesterday on Quic and now at 540/120. Firefox doesn’t like upload for some reason and only gets 0.20Mbps, other devices test fine with 120Mbps upload.
